Barbie Santa dress and hat

I made this Santa dress and hat last Christmas but didn't get round to writing up the pattern.  Its so quick and easy to knit up, with only one back seam.  I used a scrap of Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake yarn I had left and about 25 g of red dk yarn I had in my stash.   There's a back opening for easy fit and I had a lovely black button with a silver edge which is great as a buckle for the belt.  You could use any black or red button or maybe stitch with silver thread.

Please let me know if you find any mistakes in the pattern so I can amend it.

  1. erg leuk gemaakt,ik ga het ook eens proberen. dank je wel

  2. This is a lovely outfit, thank you.

  3. there are a few errors in this and other patterns

    1. Designing and producing these patterns are a little hobby I have, so, I always ask visitors to my site to point out any errors they find in the patterns (see above). So I would appreciate it if you could tell me what they are so I can amend them. Thanks

    2. Can you tell me where the errors are as I would like to knit up this dress. Thanks

    3. Perhaps you could knit this up and let me know if you find any mistakes

  4. The pattern was easy to follow and our Barbie looks very festive. Pity I can't attach a photo of her.

    1. If you're on ravelry you could make a project page and link the photo to the pattern. Or send it to me and I'll put it on here

  7. Thank you, this is perfect!

  8. Annoying when someone says there are errors but doesn’t say where

  9. Thank you so much for your patterns. I have used many much to the delight of my grandchildren😀 I think I have found a little error in this one though, on the first button hole row, I think it should start with K8 and not K12. I would have no idea how to start making up a pattern like this so please carry on making crafters and grand children happy!

  10. Thank you so kind

  11. I just knit this and I think I have found mistakes also. I ripped out the armhole shaping 3 times and redid it, and it sill looks incorrect. Could you please double-check the pattern instructions for the armhole shaping? Thanks.

  12. What do you mean by double knitting yarn? Two strands of the same red?

    1. You can buy yarn in different thicknesses. It will state on the ball of yarn the weight ie: dk, aran, chunky etc. This pattern uses dk
