My sister bought me this little one cup tea pot some time ago. All it needed was a cosy to keep the tea hot. Using scraps of yarn from my stash I came up with this easy fair isle pattern with a draw string top. There lots of ends to finish off but yarn can easily be weaved into the back until needed. Also, although I sew ends in places near a seam etc, lots of ends can easily be double knotted at the back and trimmed. There's a three knit stitch on the purl rows of the body to create a firm edge. Knit these in the main colour of the chart you are following.
This would make a lovely Mothers Day gift - the little teapots are easily found in most department stores. (my sister found this one in a charity shop)
